All flights to and from El Paso International Airport in Texas have been canceled for “special security reasons,” the Federal Aviation Administration said early Wednesday.
The Federal Aviation Administration changed course and said flights would resume after halting all air traffic into and out of El Paso.
The sudden closure of airspace around El Paso, Texas, by the Federal Aviation Administration stemmed from the Pentagon’s plan to test a laser for shooting down Mexican cartel drones.
