CANTON, Ohio — The Canton Fire Department has released dramatic surveillance video capturing the moment a home exploded early Thursday morning, injuring two people and damaging several neighboring houses.

A massive explosion leveled an Ohio home early Thursday morning, with the caught-on-video blast throwing two people into the air — with both miraculously surviving with severe burns, officials said. Doorbell cam footage captured the explosion at a home in Canton around 4 a.

Canton firefighters responded around 4 a.m. to Bonnot Place NE on a reported house explosion, Canton Fire Division Chief Steve Henderson told CBS affiliate WOIO in Cleveland. Fire officials confirmed that medics transported a person to the hospital with serious burns.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.

Several people were injured in a boat explosion and fire in a Macomb County marina Thursday afternoon, local authorities said.

Dozens of ambulance crews and emergency responders from Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) have been deployed to the scene, local media reports said.
