Southeast Texas is bracing for Winter Storm Enzo, prompting airport closures in Houston and widespread travel disruptions.

It's going to be a long time before some areas are back to normal following a once-in-a-lifetime winter storm that pummeled the South, all the way down to the Gulf Coast.

Storm Enzo is doing as predicted: dumping heavy snow on Southeast Texas in the early morning hours on Tuesday. Residents from College Station to the Houston metropolitan area recorded sustained snowfalls across the region.
