Manchester City will accept a £70million offer for Savinho after Tottenham have made a move to sign him. Tottenham are in advanced talks to sign the Brazil international, but Man City are understood to have rejected a £60million offer for his services.
Tottenham Hotspur have identified AS Monaco attacker Maghnes Akliouche as a transfer target due to the asking price for Manchester City’s Savinho, according to the Independent journalist Miguel Delaney.
Tottenham have been forced to look elsewhere in their pursuit of a new winger, with Manchester City ’s valuation of Savinho remaining too high. Spurs were keen on City’s Brazilian star, with the 21-year-old reportedly open on a move to north London, where he would be likely to enjoy more game time.
Tottenham Hotspur have now launched a move for a "world-class" Savinho alternative, having received the green light from Thomas Frank, according to a report.
Tottenham have also been informed that Savinho will be staying put, with City unwilling to sell a player Pep Guardiola wants to keep. Tottenham’s interest coming so close to the end of the window is a factor, but it was Guardiola’s stance which was ‘key’ to Savinho staying.
