One of those bright spots for Houston centers upon what was seen out of running back Nick Chubb during his first game in a Texans uniform. The free agent signing earlier this offseason led the way in the backfield with the majority of the carries,

Chubb rushed nine times for 38 yards and secured three of four targets for two yards in the Texans ' 17-10 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.

Well, well, well. Just when you thought the Houston Texans couldn’t give their fans any more heart palpitations, Nick Chubb decided to remind everyone why he’s still got it with a perfectly timed 25-yard touchdown scamper.

Chubb has reportedly been consistent and hard-working for the Texans dating back to training camp, has clear respect in the locker room from teammates and the coaching staff, and of course, has a proven track record in the league of being one of the better runners of the football in recent history while at his peak production.

Once Nick Chubb crossed the goal line and gave the Houston Texans a 19-14 lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 2:10 left the game, the question of whether or not he should've taken a knee so the Texans could kill more clock immediately arose.

No one is denying that Tampa Bay allowed the Texans to score so the Bucs could get the ball back for a game-winning drive.
