Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for an area near Lake Piru in Ventura County as firefighters worked to contain a fire that has grown to at least 200 acres.

The Monroe Canyon Fire burning in Sevier County continues to grow, with Monday bringing the "hottest temperatures so far" and a Red Flag Warning in place, according to an incident update.
