King Charles III is opening up about his cancer diagnosis and treatment, acknowledging that the experience can be "daunting and at times frightening" for both patients and their loved ones.

The British monarch said the “frightening” experience of cancer could also illuminate the “best of humanity” as he thanked medical workers and charities.
