Former WBZ anchor Kate Merrill sues Boston station, CBS, Paramount for racial and gender discrimination: WBZ ‘took career-ending action against Ms. Merrill to advance a DEI agenda’

Merill, who abruptly left WBZ-TV in Boston last year after more than 20 years as a reporter and anchor, is claiming racial and gender discrimination.

Kate Merrill was accused of microaggressions and unconscious bias against two recently hired Black colleagues. She denies any wrongdoing.
