Horner’s departure came after a tumultuous 18-month period at Red Bull, during which Max Verstappen’s father Jos called for the team boss to resign as he warned that Red Bull would “explode” if Horner remained in charge.

Last weekend, Jos Verstappen was present at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian GP. On the grid, just before the start, the former F1 driver was questioned about former Red Bull team principal Christian Horner by Nico Rosberg.
