Green Day changed the lyrics of their single “Jesus of Suburbia” to highlight the suffering of Palestinian children during a headline set at Coachella on Saturday. The Grammy-winning punk band referenced the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict as they made the latest in a long series of political gestures.

Coachella’s second day, Saturday, April 12, was backloaded with one must-see set after another, with T-Pain’s hits-filled performance leading into stellar sunset sets from both Charli xcx as well as Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic (featuring a handful of special guests).

Green Day started the 80-minute set with "American Idiot" and Billie Joe Armstrong changed some of the lyrics to "I'm not part of the MAGA agenda."
