First Alert Weather: Nuisance snowfall to finish the weekend
Western New York has had just enough snow on Saturday to "fresh up" the snowpack with most communities reporting one inch or less during the last 24 hours.
First Alert: Cold weekend ahead of gradually warmer temps
Expect mostly cloudy skies today with highs in the mid-30s. On Sunday, we will see more sunshine in the afternoon, with slightly warmer temps in the upper 30s. A few flurries will still be possible later this evening and tomorrow night as temps drop back down below freezing. Accumulation is not a concern.

Sunday will be one of the warmer days on our forecast, with temps reaching the mid 30s - meaning some of the snowpack will be melting as well as some ice. Watch out for falling ice in our area but the sunshine spilling out will help melt some side roads and sidewalks as well.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. We got up to 30 degrees yesterday which, despite still being below freezing, felt like spring break compared to the days before where we were lucky to crack 10 degrees with the wind chill.
