The Fallout season 2 teaser trailer debuted on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Gamescom 2025 and gave fans a look at what's next for Lucy MacLean ( Ella Purnell ), Maximus (Aaron Moten) and The Goul/Cooper Howard ( Walton Goggins) in the post-apocalyptic Wasteland.
Now's not a bad time to catch up or rewatch Season 1, as Amazon has revealed Fallout Season 2 will premiere December 17. Unlike Season 1, which released all of its episodes on the same day, Season 2 will follow a traditional weekly schedule. Episodes will stream on Wednesdays, with the Season 2 finale slated for February 4.
So, in the first teaser trailer for Fallout Season 2, we’re introduced to Mr. House, and we see him interact with Cooper Howard, the human version of Goggins’ character. It appears that this story from the past will overlap with The Ghoul and Lucy’s trip to New Vegas, and create parallel stories like we saw in Season 1.
First-look images for Fallout season 2 have confirmed that the series will take place, at least partially, in the fictional city of New Vegas. As the name suggests, this is the post-apocalypse version of Las Vegas, and it's the setting of the 2010 installment in the video game franchise Fallout: New Vegas.
Fallout season 2 will be released before the end of 2025 – here's everything we know about the hit Amazon TV series' return so far.
