Cloudburst-triggered flash floods in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district wreaked havoc on Aug 05. Nature’s disaster swept away homes, shops, and roads, with several people feared missing. Over 130 people have been rescued so far,

Horrifying visuals of the incident showed a strong stream of water flowing down from a hill towards the Dharali village, sweeping away many houses.

Dharali village, located in Uttarkashi's Rajgarhi tehsil, has a population of 505 and sits near the Kheer Ganga river. On Tuesday, a cloudburst in the region led to flash floods, damaging homes and hotels.
