Yellowstone is a great place for families, a friend group, couples, or even one person. There are many animals — our family saw two bears! The hot springs and the geysers are amazing, especially the … Full review by Kavya D

We went on spring break and some of the park was closed due to freezing. Our original tour was cancelled, but we found a Trash Pickup guy that worked at the park that gave us a private tour of what … Full review by TinyTownQueen
We are arriving in West Yellowstone, staying at Explorer Cabins on April 19, opening weekend for west entrance. We have Friday to Monday to explore the park. Since most activities are weather dependent and April is unpredictable, does anyone have recommendations of how to plan/make the most of our time? I am finding very little I fit in visiting during this time. It seems winter tours are finished and other tours begin in May. We are locked into the dates, and spending the next 3 nights in Jackson Hole. There are 3 adults and a teen in our group. Thanks!

I’m arriving to Yellowstone at 25 April 2025, but I don’t know which entrances will be open.
Do you have any information on which of the two accomodations to stay in would be better. The Canyon Lodge or Lake Y ellowstone Hotel. Some of us are going for the 1st time to Yellowstone and two of us it will be our second time. We love it . Carol

I would stay at the yellow hotel. You’re at Yellowstone and it is somewhat off the beaten path. The Lodge was very beautiful, but also packed with tourists And it was May.

Yes. We saw many, many dogs there. One woman even was carrying her Yorkie in a baby carrier (the kind that's like a backpack but in the front). Others were large dogs, leashed, and it seemed every RV had a dog in it, large, medium and small. Just be careful as there are many hazards for pets in the park...keep them safe.
