Dr. Karla Leavitt is a double board-certified maternal fetal care physician at the Orlando Health Women’s Institute Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine. She cares for patients with high-risk pregnancies and manages pregnancies with a history of genetic disorders and congenital anomalies. Dr. Leavitt earned her medical degree and a master’s in public health at the University of Puerto Rico. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the university’s medical sciences campus. Dr. Leavitt completed fellowships in fetal therapy at the University of Maryland, reproductive and clinical genetics at Montefiore Medical Center / Albert Einstein College of Medicine and maternal fetal medicine at the University of South Florida.
